WHCRWA Fee
The West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA) assesses a fee for each 1,000 gallons of either groundwater or surface water used by the District. Each user of District water for any purpose, whether builder, single-family residential, non-single-family residential, or any other type of user, shall be charged, in addition to the water rates set forth above, an amount for each 1,000 gallons of water delivered to such user in a billing cycle equal to the amount charged to the District by the WHCRWA for each 1,000 gallons of water used during that cycle plus ten per cent (10%) to cover the cost of non-billable water production.
